How to Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your account, follow these steps within the Taxr app:

  1. Open the Taxr app.

  2. Tap on your Profile in the app.

  3. Select Delete Account from the available options.

  4. Confirm your request to permanently delete your account.

Once confirmed, your account and associated data will be removed as per our retention policy.

What Data Is Deleted?

When you delete your account, we will remove:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number).

  • All scanned receipts and transaction history.

  • Any linked financial data and preferences.

What Data Is Retained?

For legal and compliance purposes, some data may be retained for a limited period, even after account deletion:

  • Transactional records may be kept for tax and financial regulations.

  • Any required data for fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

  • Certain metadata or logs may be retained as per legal obligations.
